When operating in a location that has a high noise level, it can make it hard to hear standard notification sounds. In order to prevent missing important updates and assignments, turn on your handset's loud notifications when in loud environments.
What follows here is a quick guide to show you how to do just that.
Step 1:
To access the options menu for your handset, first press and hold the BroadNet logo at the top of your handset's phone screen (or press # on non touch screen handsets) until the PTT menu appears.
The amount of pressure you need to apply may vary depending on what handset model you are using.
Step 2:
In the PTT menu , select 'Options'.
Step 3
This is the options menu for your handset, including general and audio settings. There's a lot to cover here, but for now scroll down to or select Loud/Vibrate notify.
Step 4
Toggling Loud notify on sets the handset to a very loud setting, sounding a loud alert sound to notify the user that a new assignment has been received.
This alert will sound constantly until the user checks their handset and accepts or rejects the new assignment.
