What to look out for in Dispatch operations.

While the dispatch window can look a little daunting at first, it provides a wealth of information at your fingertips once you know what to look for.
Here are a few basic things to look out for while you are using dispatch.

User Markers

On the dispatch map, every active user's location will be displayed with an icon.
This icon will change colour depending on the user's status.

The user icon will also change to a microphone whenever the user is transmitting - very useful in high pressure situations where knowing who is talking and where they are located is paramount.

The Terminal Panel

Located on the right-hand side of dispatch, the terminal panel lists all terminals assigned to your organisation.
The example shows one user's panel.
Their status could be described like this: "User Alpha01A has been Available since 11:16. They are under the First Aid callsign on the BNET1 channel. They have a full battery, but very poor signal."

For more information on a user or to interact with them, click on their panel.

When a user is transmitting, their panel will light up to indicate that the user is currently transmitting.

When a user needs to talk to the dispatch operator, they will make a callback request from their terminal.
When this happens, their panel will start to flash yellow.
